Volleyball

Hi its Kaylee, I want to talk more about what been happening in volleyball. About 2 weeks ago we had our first tournament we did pretty well we won 1 but, lost 2. Last week we played Smoky Valley they were good we all lost but, A team won and C1 won also, a week ago B and A team had a quad game in Selina and went VS Smoky Valley I am not sure how they did though.

Yesterday we had a game against Pratt and we all won but, A team lost they did good through I think we all improve in volleyball. C team 2 did amazing we all made the serves over well I didn't but, most of our points came from our serves. Even though I didn't make any over I did a very good pass I mean it hit my hand very hard and went right over the net and Pratt could not get it. 

I am really liking volleyball it is so, much fun a lot of C team 2 weren't really friends but, know we get along so, much and if you were there at the game last night it was loud, after the game my throat hurt but, I had so, much fun last night. 

Sports

When I was playing baseball for a fall ball it was very fun mostly because it was just scrimmage.

It was very fun I loved so much because I batted 4th all the time so mostly every 1st inning I get to bat because the kids going before me were pretty good to. My position is shortstop I like shortstop because my pitchers weren't the best but they didn't let to many people get a good rip on the ball so mostly every time the other team hit it, it would go right to me so I got a lot of action on the field.

GAMES

         Every Sunday I would get up at like 7:00 to play normaly my games were at 10 but the games were in witchta, KS so my dad drove me, before games my team would warm up by throwing, batting, and running we would normal play double headers.

PRACTICE

        Every Monday, Wednsday, and Friday we would have practice every practice we would throw, bat, and run after that warm up we would go to are position and practice then we would have outfield and infield practiced diff. things so outfield practiced pop fly and infield practiced grounders and hard fly balls then we would go to the batting cadges and bat, then the pitchers would pitch I was also a pitcher Next, the last 20 to 30 min we would scrimmage. 

volleyball

Okay, we won two out of the three games we played at the quad. We lost to Smokey Valley. We had a game last week against against Smokey Valley at home and we lost to them in three sets. It was a tough game and I was really mad because having so much competitiveness, I hate losing.

We had a game yesterday against Pratt and we won really easily. Coach said I could jump serve but I didn't because I wasn't serving my greatest last night. They weren't very good so the game went by really fast and lasted like 45 minutes.

I am very excited because in a couple of weeks are club tryouts. Last year I made it on "A" team and was middle hitter and middle back. I played for the McPherson Pups and my team last year was pretty good. We got three 2nd and one 1st place. The only thing I don't like about it is that we have to wake up at like 4-5 a.m. because we have to be at the gym at 8 for four weeks. Some of the games were all the way in Wichita. My mom and I would stay there until like 5 p.m. or so. They lasted forever because sometimes we wouldn't play for a couple hours. We weren't allowed to leave either.

They were really fun days though because lots of food and snacks were involved so I can't wait till I start practicing again. We have a B team tournament at Pratt in a couple of weeks and I am so pumped for that as well.

Homecoming football game

             






           I can't wait to go to the Homecoming football game tonight. My best friend and I are going together. Then when we get there we're going to find my other friends at the football game. It is going to be so much fun. Then at the end, he, my bff, and I are going to watch the fireworks together. While we are there we're going to run around and do a lot of other things, but I'm not going to say my friends' names.

Football

When we started football season we started out with a bad loss to Halstead. But we got back on our feet an beat Hillsboro 33 to 0.
             We've only allowed 1 touchdown off of offense since Halstead. This week we beat Pratt this week 40 to 6, we play good for about 3 1/2 quarters then we let a touchdown slip.  We play Haven next week and we are expected to win if we to our full extent and execute plays.
             When we play we play with a high motor and when we play with a high motor we play great. Next week I hope we don't have 2 guys out with concussions.

How I got my pet dog

     Last when me and my grandma were going to go see which dog I wanted and pay for him/her from this one person's house. When we got there there were four dogs and one of them was already payed for which his colors were black with white spots and he was the one I wanted so I just looked for another puppy that I wanted. The other three were cute. There was only one girl dog in the bunch and she was white brownish orangish spots. the other two dogs had the same colors which were white with black spots. One of those two dogs had peed on my hand. It was the weirdest thing that had ever happened to me, but I didn't choose that dog, I chose the other white dog with black spots because it was so cute. I told my grandma which one I wanted and she paid them. It costed $100 for one puppy. After we paid for the puppy it was time to go. The next time we went to see the dogs they were a little bit bigger and the girl dog was a lot smaller than the others.   
      
       When we went to go see the dogs again we went with my mom so that she could see them and see the one I was going to get. When we got there with my mom she was so excited to see them. When we went into the persons house the dogs were so excited to see us. One of the boy dogs was very shy and the other two boy dogs were acting like they hadn't seen us in ages. The girl dog was acting the same way and she loved my mom a lot. When it was time to go we told the dogs goodbye and then we left. On the day before Easter my grandma got a call from them saying that we could go get my dog. When my grandma told me I was so excited because I got to get my dog that day. When we got there the lady had my dog in her hands, so I opened my door so that she could hand me him. While we were going back home we were hitting some bumps in the road and he got scared so I was trying to cheer him up by saying it was going to be okay and then he started to be calm the rest of the way. 
                                                          That is how I got my dog.





       

Sports

The Jayhawks are doing good at their football games.  They won their first game. They lost their football game on Saturday.  They might be in the playoffs to get to the championship this year.  They might finish at the top of the Big 12 this year. Their players are good.  David Beaty is the head coach. Texas is the up of the big 12. 

Pixels

Pixels is a great movie in my opinion. You see, if you don't like video games, or arcades, than you wouldn't like the movie Pixels. The movie is about video game's coming to life and attacking the world by mother ship, and a video game expert, a president, a pac-man creator, a vice sectary, a Lady Lisa fan and a Donkey Kong champ fight mother ship to save the world. It started by NASA sent a rocket to the universe showing images of video games, but "unfortunately, the message was taken the wrong way." Mother ship brought real live video games to attack us with Pac-Man, Centipede, Donkey Kong and other video game characters. Now let's talk about the characters. Sam Brenner, the video game expert,the one who save the day...ish. Ludlow Lamonsoff, that Lady Lisa fan whos in love with that video game, the wonder kid, "also known as your worst nightmare." Will Copper, the president, friend of Sam Brenner. Eddie Plant, Champion/cheater of Donkey Kong and pisoner. That is all, until next time.

            I love my farm because I have been living there since I was 9 years old. I will have fun on                 my farm. We have 17 cats, 4 hogs, 3 horses, 2 hunting dogs and 1 indoor dog.
          My sisters ride are horses out to my cousins' farmhouse a long way away. They have a                          farmhouse.
           My family and I get together sometimes and have a dance where my sisters and I get our    cowgirl dresses on and we have a blast.

Camo The Turtle

When I was around six and eight, me, my brother, and my sister were all walking my dog on a road next to my house. It is a nice road to walk on because it is right next to the country where we can see corn fields and trees on our right, while on our left was the street that we live on.

When we walking down this quiet road we didn't get very far before we saw something very small, green, and looked like a rock, in the middle of the road in front of us. I ran over to it to see what it was and saw that it was a baby red ear slider turtle on the road with no water and was on hot pavement in the sunny day. We took the baby turtle home to show my parents, "Hawks could have easily taken the turtle and harmed it, it's a good thing you found him or he wouldn't have survived." said my mom, "Can we keep him?" I asked my her, "hmmm... ok, we can keep him." she said.

We went to our garage to get a glass tank used to hold fish, turtles, frogs, et cetera, then cleaned it out with a hose. Once that was done I got two medium size rocks we have in our backyard to put in the tank so he could rest and not always have to be in the water we would fill it with. After that i got some twigs with leaves on them so the turtle would feel more at home.

Finally, we could put him in his new home. I carefully picked him up and put him in the tank. Immediately, he went under the leaves to hide. "We should name him Camo!" I said "because he hides like camouflage!" and I could tell that I would enjoy my new pet.

Oh no! I Lost My Homework!

Oh no! Where's my homework? I was on my way to math class when I realized that my homework was missing. I know I finished my homework on my way back from last night's volleyball game. I panicked. I couldn't have lost it. This has to be a misunderstanding. No, no! 

If I didn't turn in my math homework, I would have to go to ASP (After School Practice). Then I wouldn't get Swather Pride and I won't get a bag of popcorn. I love their popcorn! They are perfectly buttered. I would also have to do 30 up-backs since I would miss 30 minutes of volleyball practice. Up-backs are these horrible drills when you run from one wall of the gym to its opposite wall. I die after one. I might need to bring white roses for my funeral to practice. This can't be happening to me. I've never had this happen to me before. 

My teacher pitied me, but said there was no way she could help me out and be fair at the same time. She sent me to the office. My hands were sweaty, my mind racing with dread, and I wished I could vanish. When I got to the office, I had to fill out this slip and call my mom to tell her what's going on. I called my mom, and she was mad. She said I have to check my locker again. I told her I already did and it was probably at home. My mom answered that she go and check. 

My mom is really good at finding things. I had no doubt that she will find my homework. During my next hour, I was called to the office. I smiled. I knew she'd get it. On my way there, I past the office window, and looked inside. There was my mom! In her hands, there wasn't anything. My smile melted into a worried frown. I knew what my mom was going to say before she said anything. She couldn't find my homework. My mom refused to give up. She asked the office if she could check out my locker, and got a visitor's pass. Once she looked at my locker, she asked me what I brought to the game. I looked through my locker and found the book that I finished last night. I opened it up and there was my homework, safe and unharmed. My mother looked at me knowingly saying that is exactly the weird thing I'd do to my homework. My mom found my homework!

About Me

Hey! My second volleyball game was just Thursday. We played Hillsboro. It was a really boring game because their team was really bad. I am the first server and I served like half of our game. Well, we won!! Not that much of a surprise but still. There is not that much to write about because nothing important really happened. So I am going to write about my life. Don't worry, just a brief summary. Not all twelve years of my life. I am pretty sure that would be pretty boring so i am going to write about the fun and exciting parts.

I have 3 brothers that are younger than I am and my mom and dad. My mom and dad played a lot of sports when there where younger and they were both pretty good. So my competitiveness comes from them. I play a lot of volleyball and a lot of track too. I do basketball and solf ball but they aren't really  my favorite. I have one grandma that is alive at this moment, and one that passed away. I went to D.C two years ago when I was ten with my grandma that died. I went with her and my two cousins. When I was eleven, i went to Oregon and Virginia. My family and I went to Oregon as a vacation and it was so much fun. We went to Virginia because my brother and I made it to the junior Olympics. It was very nerve racking because the best in the USA were there.

Well I am twelve now, and I made it to the Junior Olympics again but in one more event. I made it in the 800,1500 and the pentathlon. The pentathlon is made up of five events: hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put and the 800. It lasted all day, no joke. I spent the whole day talking to this gal I met about nothing related to track. It was a lot of fun because I met more people and we went to the beach. I love the beach. When we went to Virginia, we couldn't go to the beach because it was storming. So this year, my family stayed there for three hours.

That is a quick summary of all the important and interesting things I have done. I can't write down all the details because I am pretty sure you would never get done reading.

I have three games tonight because it is a quad. i am nervous because we haven't had practice since Friday. i am hoping we will do our best. my next blog will be about the quad. 

Theory's about Five Night At Freddy's 1 2 and 3

                  Hello and welcome to Game Theory. Today i will be talking about five night at Freddy's. Well let's talk about the characters of sister location which was sad when he said it was canceled. Baby, Ballora, Bidybab, and Ennard and the fun time characters. Let's begin with the theory my theory is that the purple guy is the guy that reopens the Freddy restaurants and i know you like no the person is the phone guy that reopens them or a random guy but why would someone want to reopen the Freddys it a theory a game theory.

World Series

My sports life, in stead of talking about my sports I' am going to talk about the time I went to the world series. The world series, I went to was the 7th game of the world series I went with my sister.

 First my sister had to find the stadium it took a very long time. Next we had to find a parking spot, after that we found are sets are sets were right behind the Royals dugout. Then we talked to some people while they warmed up, after they were done warming up I got three hotdogs. Then they came out and finished warming up then the game started I couldn't see for the first inning, but the people behind us were very nice and let me stand on my chair. After that I had a very fun time.

After that I got another three hot dogs in the 4th inning that was one of my favorite innings, because everyone was screaming. Then came the 7th inning I got some popcorn and watched the rest of the game.

After the game we went back to are car and drove to my sisters apartment and went to bed the next morning I played some PS3 and got breakfast. At about 3 o'clock me and my mom went to this thing called the champion pep. Lastly we went home.  

   

World cup soccer

Hello my adoring fans, I am going to write a blog about the World Cup.The World cup is the most watched sporting event in the world. 3.2 billon people watch the World Cup every year (46.4 percent of  the population). It is held once every 4 years. The last world cup was in 2014. It lasted from June 12 to July 13 so over a month. (dang!That long!!). The  different games in the world cup were held in 12 different Brazilian cities.

 Thirty two different teams qualify for the world cup every time. They go an event called "Preliminary Competition"where all of the teams play in games preceding the World Cup that qualify's them to get in 1 of the 31 slots because the team for that country automatically gets in.The teams are put into 8 groups of 4 teams at the beginning of the tournament. The top 2 teams from each group will move on to the next round,who play in successive rounds to reach the finals.

The Adidas Golden Ball will be given to the most outstanding player at the World Cup finals. The Adidas Golden Boot is given to the player who makes the most amount of goals all season. And that is all I know about the World Cup.

Football

Football is one my favorite sports. I started playing football in 2nd grade when I wasn't supposed to. The normal grade to start playing tackle football is 3rd grade, but somehow my friend and I got to start playing in 2nd grade. Since it was everybody's first year playing we weren't that good. We lost a lot of games and won some. The next year my other friends played with us and we got a little better at the game. The time when my team started to get a lot better was in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. We went undefeated 3 years in a row. 

During my 6th grade year my friend and I were asked to play with another team in a tournament. The team we got asked by was the one team that was the hardest we played all year. My friend and I thought that he would be playing quarterback, but when we went to the first practice he was playing on the offensive line. I was still playing tailback, but I shared the position with their tailback. In the games we would switch out. So when he got tired I would go in and when I got tired he would go back. On defense I would play defensive end. It was a fun position because all I had to do was blitz the quarterback every time.

I just started playing football in 7th grade and so far we have played 2 games. Our first game we lost to our rivals by 30. Our second game we only got to play the 2 quarters because it started to lightning. The score of that game was 33-0. My next game is against a team from Larned. It's pretty far from where I live. My coach said that they are really athletic. I hope we beat them.

Volleyball

                                                                    

Hi my name is Kaylee and I'm starting my first blog. Something I am passionate is volleyball. I am on a great team with about 3 friends but, I usually practice with Amala we have a very good time during practice and at games. I have been doing volleyball for about a month and have already had 2 games. We won both games we played Halstead and Hillsboro. I really like volleyball.

I decided to do volleyball because my friends are doing it and it seems fun now that I'm doing volleyball I decided to do tennis in the Spring. In volleyball we have 3 lowbrows their names are Emily, Olivia, and Danielle they are really good. We do this thing in volleyball where we have secret sisters and every Wednesday we get to give our secret sister a gift but, we don't know who are secret sister is, I got some cool gifts from mine secret sister and also given good  gifts.

At our first game which was at home we did very well B team destroyed the other team the other team were down about 15 points each game. Then A team went they lost but, they were only down about 5 points and A team seems like a hard team to be in because there are other 8th graders which they are hard.Then last of all we had c team play and they also won we were all so happy.

I really hope you liked my blog I really do like volleyball and I hope to do it next year in 8th grade. My whole team is awesome and they are very nice. We have amazing coaches 2 of them are teachers and they support us if we win or if we lose. 
                                      

Doodle-tastic

Doodles are one of the best parts of art. You can make them almost anywhere: on the road, sitting and waiting for your brother's dentist appointment to be over, or even at home. They require very little paper (or any other material you can draw on) and a drawing tool. 

Made-up animals are a lot of fun to doodle because there are no limits about how exact or precise you have to be. Nothing can limit what you doodle! Well, your bit of paper might limit you, but only if you let it. I think the smaller the doodle the cuter it is and then you have more room to expand it's surroundings, to give it a story, a personality or it's own little world!

Animals aren't the only things you can doodle. Plants, places, pirates, pies, puddles, possibilities are endless when it comes to doodling! You don't have to be an artist to have fun doodling. When I work on my art I want it to be perfect, but when I doodle, I don't have to worry if my lines are straight or if my circles are round enough. I just get to draw for fun!

Wimbledon

  Wimbledon is one of the most famous tennis competitions ever. The unique thing about Wimbledon is all the players have to wear white,you can even get disqualified if you don't wear white.

  Many people wonder why these players have to wear white, including me. The reason is in the 1800's they thought in was inappropriate to see sweat stains on colored clothes. Therefore they felt that it was more appropriate to wear white clothes.

  Lots of famous athletes have played in Wimbledon, two of them are the Williams sisters. For many tennis players it is a goal to make it to Wimbledon to watch or to compete. This is one of my dreams  all though I doubt that I will compete there but I would love to go watch.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg is my funny puppy, she is not quite a year old and she loves people. Nutmeg is hilarious when you let her our of the crate she goes crazy running around and licking your legs. Nutmeg is a fluffy bundle of joy. 

When you play with Nutmeg watch out for your hands! Nutmeg shows no mercy, her favorite toys are a pink bear, a small bobcat, and her blanket. She is also always stealing stuffed animals out of my room!

I think Nutmegs favorite part of the day is when your playing with her or taking her on a walk, when she sees you have her leash she will follow you until you take her on a walk.

Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women

The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter is one of the best series I have read. 

Born into a family of spies 16 year old Cameron Morgan has known her parents are constantly in danger. Four years before, Cam's dad went on a mission and never returned. So her mom takes a job as headmistress at Gallagher Academy for exceptional young ladies. Despite all of what people think Gallagher is a school for spies. Being a spy isn't all sunshine and roses, she gets mixed up with a civilian boy which leads to debriefing and worse. 

As Cammie and her roommates continue school, operation Blackthorn takes a hold, she begins to wonder if its a good thing or not. She meets another boy, a spy like herself and begins to fall in love. Soon she learns the cold, hard truth about his past. Lives on the line they fight side by side to defeat the even greater evil than they could ever have imagined.

Life is on the line, their world is turned around, things will never be the same again. Fighting for their existance and the existance of the world as we know it is in their hands. 

     

Sports

I love sports, I love to play most sports. I like to play basketball, football and baseball. When I play sports and it's a close game and even if your tired, if you want to win you play hard, all of those things just make the victory that much sweeter. When your work hard and you come out with a victory it makes your feel relieved, and happy, and even exhausted. There are many different sports and many different things you have to do to win, like in basketball your have to anticipate, and in football you have to work as a team, or as my coach says "A well oiled machine".

If you don't work as team in football, then everything goes wrong, if one guys doesn't do his job, they whole play is ruined. In basketball if you don't anticipate than you aren't reading your defensive player very well. If your over anticipate than your man will score every time. In almost all sports you have to work together, and when you do work well together you all accomplish great things.  

In all the time i've had to play sports I have never seen one player win the whole game by themselves, they might have help but they didn't do it all by themselves.
