Guts by Gary Paulsen is about his real adventures that parallel Brian's in the Brian books. One of the adventures was that Gary Paulsen was attached by a moose. Pausen had also made his own bow and arrow. In a lot of ways Brian and Paulsen are alike they both made bows and were attached by mooses, But Brian was just one of Paulsen's characters.

ReplyDeleteI'll have to check that book out too. Right now we are reading Hatchet in 6th grade MTSS. It's definitely a book on my top ten list of favorite books.
