7th grade basketball
This is my team's first year playing school basketball. We were all excited that our coach was Mr. Lafferty. He is a really good coach. I was nervous about our first game. Our first game was against a team from Wichita. We won by a lot. We were all excited that we won the next couple games. During practice we would work hard until it was time for our next game. When the day of our tournament came I was excited. We were still undefeated. I think we were 9-0 then. We have one more game until our 7th grade basketball season is over and we are now 11-0 or 12-0. My goal this year was to go undefeated and I think that it is possible.

Thank you for your kind words about me as your coach. I'm not really a good coach, it's just that I have really good players like you that make the team successful =). It's been fun coaching you guys and watching you grow as players and do great things as a team. I hope we can end the season with one more win!
